Registering many people from a sheet
Download the template for your Award Centre, fill in one row for each person, upload it, check the preview and confirm. Rows with problems come back for you to fix.
When a whole year group joins, upload one sheet instead of registering each person. Open Registrations, then Uploads.
Get the template
Choose your Award Centre and a file type, then Download the template. Each column is a question your Centre’s registration form asks, followed by the level, the country, whether anything may mean the person needs longer, and up to two parents or guardians. The headings are in your language. A sheet headed in another language your Operator offers is read too.
Write one person on each row. Write a choice as its name or its code. Write days as 2011-03-04 or 4.3.2011. Separate several choices with a semicolon. A person under the age of parental consent needs at least one parent or guardian, with an email address of their own.
Upload and check
Choose a file under Upload a filled sheet, then Check the sheet. A file can have up to 2,000 rows and 5 MB. We check every row by the same rules as a person registering themselves, and the preview shows each problem by cell. Nothing is registered yet. A preview you leave for a day is discarded.
Confirm
Choose Register the people who are ready. Each person is registered on their own, so a bad cell stops only its row. Each person gets the email that proves their address, each parent or guardian gets the request to agree, and each account is sent for approval like any other. They accept the terms of use and the privacy notice when they first sign in.
Rows with problems
When the upload is done, choose Download the rows with problems. Fix them in the file and upload it again. The Problems column is ignored. The rows are erased 30 days after the upload ran, and only the counts remain.
